On September 10, 2018, the 4th Global Blockchain Summit, sponsored by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs was held in Shanghai International W Hotel. With the theme of 2018 Shanghai International Blockchain Week — Tech Open Day, this summit focuses on the application technology. Pro. Xia Yang, was invited into this summit and delivered a speech on the subject of “Smart Contract Security and Automated Formal Verification VaaS Platform”.

In the speech, Pro. Xia Yang tried to illustrate the importance and preventive methods of blockchain security by briefly introducing smart contract security issues recently.

Addressing at the 2018 Shanghai International Blockchain Week in the Shanghai International W Hotel, Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, visited the booth of Chengdu LianAn Technology. He not only viewed the demonstration video of VaaS, but also used directly “one-button” formal verification tool for VaaS-ETH. He was impressed by its function of identifying the problems in Ethereum contract precisely and efficiently. In addition, he expressed his appreciation for the contribution Chengdu LianAn Tech has made into the Ethereum ecological security.

02 Cooperation
On September 14, Chengdu LianAn Technology has reached the profound strategic cooperation with Qtum. Two sides will carry out the further communication and discussion in blockchain technology, blockchain security verification, the development and auditing of smart contract and so on.

04 Vulnerability Analysis.
On September, 10, the security loophole was found in the Gorgona, the Ponzi Game, which is potential risk and threat for all players’ assets. Cointime also released Five-stars news based on the vulnerability analysis made by Chengdu LianAn. We suggest all users of Gorgona should stop playing that game to avoid unnecessary losses. There is a Gentle Reminder on this matter: it is necessary for all the project parties of the game to test and audit the security of code before deploying it on the blockchain, and when necessary, it is better to use the third-party auditing company to nip the risk in the bud.
